What To Expect

What to expect if you work with us on a search

  • Like most executive search firms, our fees are paid by the employers, so candidates pay us nothing.
  • We know our clients well. More than 80% of our searches are with clients who have engaged us 3 or more times.

  • We trust your judgment. Nobody in our firm works on commission, so there is no incentive to talk you into, or out of, anything. Consequently, more than 85% of the people we place stay with their new organization for more than 3 years.

  • We are selective. If we have contacted you, you were hand-picked by someone on our research team who determined that you were highly likely to be successful in the position we’re recruiting for. This video outlines our recruiting process.

  • We will not drag things out. Our searches usually operate under very short timeframes. If you are selected, you will be interviewing soon.

Whether we contacted you, or you contacted us, we promise to:

  • Always keep your conversations with us completely confidential.

  • Always show respect for you and your time. We will be as flexible as possible when scheduling interviews.

  • Make our expectations clear. The job descriptions and interview process are rigorously well thought-out.

  • Be honest and transparent. You will always know where you stand.

  • Give you the information you need and let you decide. The decision is always yours to make.

  • Reduce the potential for bias in every aspect of the hiring process. We have long recommended an evidence-based approach to interviewing. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, veteran status, or any other basis protected by law.
