The individual in this generalist role provides a variety of HR management services for the Washington staff of approximately 120. The position reports to the HR Managing Director and engages virtually all areas of HR: benefits, recruitment, on-boarding, HR administrative processes/procedures, HR communications, and statutory compliance. In addition, the HR Representative coordinates HR financial recordkeeping, budget forecasting, and planning and executing employee events/activities/fairs/drives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field;
  • Minimum 5 years HR generalist experience; ideally in a membership association environment;
  • Minimum 5 years recruitment and on-boarding experience;
  • Demonstrated facility with office automation tools, including spreadsheets and databases, and presentation, word processing, and graphics software;
  • Keen understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations;
  • Highly refined skills in organization and written and oral communication
