The HHMI HR
function is undergoing a period of profound transformation.
Guided by our department's three year strategic plan, we are

and effectiveness of the HR department. We are looking for a
confident, creative thinker for this position who will embrace our

Requires 8
years administrative experience in HR, with at least 3
years benefits administration; familiarity with PeopleSoft
or similar large scale HRIS that supports thousands of
employees; strong knowledge of STD, LTD, FMLA and
WC. Prefer certification, experience with retired employees,
and strong knowledge of flexible benefits programs.

companies, currently owning 53 broadcast stations located in 16 urban
markets in the United States, Radio One, Inc. is a diversified media
company that targets primarily African-American and urban consumers.
The Employee Relations Manager,
is an essential part of our successful business, critical to the
smooth running of our entire organization. This is not your
typical HR position and that's what makes it interesting. No
two days are alike, and there's never a dull moment. Reporting
to the VP of Human Resources, you will draw upon your
flexibility, resourcefulness and strong communication skills, to
forge deep trusting relationships. Working in conjunction with
our other Employee Relations Manager, you will provide guidance and
support to over 30 managers and 1200 employees.
This position requires a related degree, 7+ years
generalist experience, with a strong emphasis in employee relations,
including investigations, FMLA, compensation and benefits. Must
have PHR,
SPHR. Experience in broadcasting preferred.
